Photobiomodulation was one of the MOST helpful tools for me when my recovering from my brain injury so I am THRILLED to now be able to offer this to my patients! The Vielight was my favorite part of treatment and continues to be so helpful for me.

The Vielight Neuro Alpha 4 is a device worn over the head, that uses LED lights to target specific areas to stimulate a biological response. It inspires Alpha brain waves, which induces a relaxed mental state. This can help with mental coordination, mindfulness and learning. Patients with brain injuries, past concussions, trauma, and emotional dysregulation, have all reported significant improvement following the use of the Vielight. Sessions are up to 20 minutes a day and frequency depends on the history/goal.

Photobiomoduation with the Vielight:

• Increases production of ATP (the molecule that fuels nearly all biological activity, including cellular growth and repair.)

• Promotes the release of nitric oxide (A molecule that enhances cellular signaling and improves blood circulation.)

• Generates low levels of reactive oxygen species. (Mild oxidants that trigger gene transcription for cellular repair and healing.)

In simple terms, photobiomodulation helps your cells make more energy, much like sunlight supports photosynthesis in plants.
